Fujukura Kasei's plastic coating finish was used in automotive radiator grills (ABS resin) for the first time in 1968. Since then, our materials have been widely used in all kind of products and we also became the top maker of coatings for plastic substrate. Our products' functions and designs are highly recognized in the automotive industry. In many cases, our innovative finishing materials lead to a breakthrough idea of automotive design. Our clear coating for headlight lenses and related advanced coating technology accelerated the use of plastic headlamp assembly. Fuel efficiency, lower CO₂ emissions, and recycling all help to conserve natural resources and protect the environment. We are now developing waterborne coating to meet current demands. We have also established a global alliance with two distinctive companies, one in the U.S. and Europe, respectively. As a group, we hope to develop products for global markets.
