| The Polymers & Resins Division takes important role of company's core technologies such as polymer synthesis, filler, and coating technologies. Mission is maximizing and utilizing existing technologies to satisfy market needs and developing new products not included in our current business categories. Many of these new products have already been commercialized. As computers become a predominant factor in society, there will be more demand for adhesives and sintering process binder which are used to make the multi-layer printed circuit boards found in digital information devices. Demand for carrier tapes that are necessary to produce ICs will also increase. We always try hard to satisfy our customers requirement and maintain a functional organization while prioritizing creativity. We have recently expanded our interest in the medical reagents and IT industries, two areas which were only explorative until yesterday. New business in these industries will help to define the future of Fujikura Kasei. |
